This study examines how parenting styles and parent-child relationship dynamics impacthigh school students’ choices of college majors. Key decision-making factors wereidentified, and surveys based on the S-EMBU parenting style measurement and a scalemeasuring parent-child closeness were used to collect data for further analysis.
The Application of AI Technology in Treating Mental Illness
This essay explores the potential of AI in mental health treatment, highlighting both itspossibilities and limitations. While AI offers promise through language analysis andtherapeutic matching, it faces challenges like algorithmic limitations and datainterpretation issues. Collaboration between AI and cognitive psychology may unlockfurther understanding of human behavior and improve therapeutic support.
Using Micro-Expressions to Aid Emotional Awareness
Addressing adolescent mental health concerns, this project emphasizes emotional self-awareness. By studying emotions and micro-expressions, we developed a program thatrecognizes expressions, interprets emotions, and provides suggestions. Pre- and post-program surveys revealed increased emotional awareness among users.
